The Palms

In stark contrast to its next door neighbour and sister hotel - The Breezes - The Palms offers just 6 villas, each of which is over 140 square metres in area, complete with en-suite bathroom and dressing room. Each is air conditioned, and contains satellite TV and a DVD player. A private outdoor plunge pool completes the picture of opulence that so characterises The Palms.

A great communal swimming pool has an adjacent bar and restaurant, although there is also a main bar and restaurant a short distance away.

The facilities on offer are essentially the same as those at the nearby Breezes, and indeed many of these are actually shared with (and located at) The Breezes. However The Palms does also have its own small spa. Note that, while Palms guests are allowed to drop into The Breezes to use its facilities, opportunity for water sports and so on, the converse invitation does not apply.

Definitely the most luxurious small lodge on Zanzibar.
