Unwind in a family owned luxury lodge on a paradise beach located on the Indian Ocean coastline, just 40 minutes' drive from Dar.  The Tides employs people from the local village and supports the local village with donations.  This is very much an eco-friendly lodge dedicated to conservation.

The 7 luxury beach front cottages are located in a tropical setting surrounded by palm trees and each has its own private sunbathing area. Each cottage has a bright spacious and stylish interior with king size beds, mosquito nets, fans, solar heated water, private veranda with deck  chairs and en-suite. Bathing robes and beach towels are provided. There are also 2 beachfront family cottages each with 2 large double bedrooms.

There is a restaurant and bar right on the beach. A set 3-course dinner is served or you can choose from their speciality menu.  Room service is also available. The lodge specialises in fresh seafood caught daily. There is a swimming pool and also Internet facility.

From here you can snorkel or scuba dive on the pristine coral reefs, or there is swimming, sailing, fishing, kayaking, cultural visits, as well as game viewing in Saadani National Park.
